The seed of what would grow to become Myrth was planted in 2008 when Abby and Eric joined a community pottery studio in Boston. Over the following 6 years at this studio they learned the foundation of ceramics design and creation from their mentor Darrell Finnegan. With his encouragement, the pair opened their private production studio in 2015. They named it Myrth, for the warm, convivial homes they imagined their products living in.

Nestled in the Catskill Mountains is one of the most special places on earth. To many that drive through, it's just another sleepy town... but to the extended Schiffer family, it's always been home.

Such a special family. These pieces are handmade by Peter, The Danimal, and Gracie. All inspired by the beautiful spirt of Margo.
