• Medium body with dark chocolate, brown sugar, and tangerine notes
Waypoint is an approachable multi-purpose blend for all skill levels, serving as a guidepost, or save point, along your espresso journey. Components of the blend may change depending on the season, but the end result will be the same. Chocolate notes with a balanced sweetness complement milks of all types and straight shots go down easily, making the decision to "just have one" a challenge. While it is our default espresso blend, Waypoint also works well for all brewing methods.
Current blend components are washed coffees from Honduras.
For espresso, we like to pull our shots using the following guide:
Using a triple basket, 20-21g coffee in, 40-45g espresso out over 30sec. Brewed at 200°F and 9BAR. If you like double baskets, try 18-19g over 27-30sec at different yields. Enjoy!
